Green Smoothie for Beginners

By starting your day with a green smoothie, you are already consuming a lot of fruits and vegetables, thus upping your daily intake of these essential food types.
A simple combination of fresh greens, fruit, and a liquid base is all it takes to create a green smoothie. This green color is gained from all of the green fruits and vegetables that are added to these smoothies.
With all the goodness of spinach, broccoli, kale and many other leafy greens, combined with some deliciously tasty fruit, green smoothies for breakfast can help you make some healthy changes in your life.

  • 1 medium banana 
  • 1 rib of celery
  • ½ cucumber 
  • 1 green apple 
  • 1 handful of parsley

  • Green tea is high in flavonoids (antioxidants) and is the best source of catchins,  a group of antioxidants that stop cell damage and fight disease and are even more powerful than vitamins C and E.
